We headed to Crawfordsville KOA at 3:00 am to get to the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Speedway. It was
a 7 hour drive, 8 on the clock because of a time change. It was a madhouse when we finally arrived. We were
able to get parking and get our spot on the green before the race started. the cars were very loud and VERY fast.
We all had a wonderful time. It was lots of fun.
Leaving the speedway was more challenging then getting in. It took
over an hour to get out of the parking lot with police directing. After dinner we went swimming in the campground
