We first headed over to the visitor center. We got some suggestions on hikes. We headed off to Jenny Lake to
take the shuttle across. The shuttle boat was fun, we got a little wet when the driver turned. We took a hike called
Hidden Falls. The trail was very pretty. We continued up to Inspiration Point. At the top of Inspiration Point we
had a wonderful view of the Jenny Lake. We continued to hike a part of Cascade Canyon. DW sprained her ankle
on the way down. The hike was about 4 miles long.
We drove though the park and saw lots of bison. We also saw
a moose. On the second day we slept in. On the way to Taggart Lake we drove up signal Mountain. We hiked on
Taggart Lake - Beaver Creek Trail. It was a very neat 3.9 mile hike. We had lunch on a rock at the edge of the lake.
We saw many game trails while we were hiking. After the hike we stopped by the Colter Bay General Store to get
Some groceries. We watched a few movies and relaxed.
