On the way to the campground DH drove 1 mile in a very narrow tunnel. The rangers had to
close down the tunnel so he could go down the middle. He did a great job. We went to the
visitor center. there was no parking there but finally DH found one. We took a hike right from
the visitor Center. We did the upper and lower Emerald pool trail. The trail was 4 miles long!
The pools were very neat though and definitely worth the hike.
We went back to the camper
for dinner. We headed back out though. We saw 10-12 big horn sheep. We hiked on Canyon
View. DW wore flip-flops, she didn't think we were going to go hiking. We got out of the trail
just before dark.
