First camping trip of the year. We went camping with the Miller family. It was a real rainy start for Memorial Day but it didn't keep us down. The kids all enjoyed riding their bikes through the puddles and getting really muddy. Kim, Baily and DW got out and did some shopping while the boys held down the campers.

Saturday the campground had lots of activites. One was a bubble blowing contest where DS took 1st place. They also had lots of outside activities. The kids played kickball, vollyball and wiffleball. Saturday night we went up to the pavilion and listen to the band that was playing. They were very talented.

Sunday the rain was mostly gone but alot of campers pulled out early due to their sites flooding. The pool was not open yet which was really disappointing for the kids but they found other things to do. Sunday night we all went to the pavilion and danced to the DJ. It was alot of fun, we even got a few Miller kids to dance. We finally had our first fire on Sunday since the pit finally drained. It was a great start to the camping year.
