Another great campground. We really enjoyed our stay here.
The campground had a good sence of humor and had a section called
Snob Hill. All the fancy desiel pushers and some permanants were in
there. The campground didn't have a rec hall but they had a
really nice tent that they called the "Big Top". DH also broke down and bought
a side winder sewer hose from the camp store.

On Saturday evening the campground made fried dough. They had all kinds
of toppings but we went with powdered sugar. Yum! It was really good!
DW also played Bingo down at the "Big Top"...she was not a winner this night.
We also had a campfire Saturday night. We had bought the firewood
from the camp store.....this wood would not burn. We had never seen
wood like this. You needed a ton of kindlin just to get a flame and DH
ended up making coals in the grill can to get it to start. But the weird thing
about this wood is you could pull it out of the fire and it would be on fire
and 30 seconds later you could hold it with your bare hand and it wouldn't be hot. Weird!

Well we did have fun at the fire trying things with our new camera.
DS was playing with a stick with an ember and keeping the shutter
open we got some neat pictures of him swirling the stick. We also had some Smores
and roasted marshmallows. It was a great end to a 10 day end of the summer trip.
It was a smooth ride home and we always look forward to our next trip.
