We wanted to get in early so we got started as soon as we figured we could to allow us to arrive at the check in time.
We arrived right on time. We got the campsite ready because we had a lot of company coming to visit. DW has a lot a family
in the Pittsfield MA area and when they heard we were coming to town everyone wanted to join us for a campfire. We
had a great time with everyone coming over and eating hotdogs and marsh mallows. After talking into the night we had to get
to bed.

The next morning we were up early so we could get to Jiminy Peak. They have quite a bit of summer activities. I have been
on an Alpine slide in the past but DW and DS haven't so this was a first for them. Jiminy Peak also has a roller coaster and
a bunch of other stuff. We got our tickets and head right to the alpine slide. DS was hooked. Off we went to the coaster
it isn't like big coaster this is a little coaster where one or two people are in a car and thats it. The coaster was awesome.

DW and DS also tried the bungee trampoline (I was over the weight limit) and then we went back to the alpine slide and coaster
after a while we decided to try the rock wall (which none of us could climb) and giant swing. We then played a round of mini
golf and DS did the road obstacle. Then we all wanted to go back and ride the alpine slide and coaster some more.

We had a great day but it started to rain about 5pm so we decided to leave and go to the store. On the way back I wanted to
see if they had re opened the coaster, they had. I was really neat riding the coaster down in the dark. There was almost
no wait because most people has left.

We finally got back to the campground at almost 10pm to find things soaked. Apparently the run off from the road we right
through our site so it was very muddy. It rained on and off all night so the next morning it was a long job to clean up.
