Continuing on our road trip, we stopped and visited a friend that lives on the Steinhatchee River. What a nice piece of property. When we pulled into his gated area we were greeted by his two horses Chief and Daisy. Next you come up on 2 cows roaming the property and several hogs that are penned up. They also had several chickens and bunnies and many dogs.

They had a great parking pad for us set up right on the river. It was great to see Mark and the kids who are getting very big. The youngest 17 yr old standing at over 6' tall. Ds had a fun morning hog hunting with Matt. They didn't get one but saw a few deer. We spent the day talking and relaxing. DH and DS had a scare when they flipped over a john boat to see a 4 foot water moccasin looking back at them. DS fell in love with one of the puppies running around the property named Lucy. It was great to catch up with old friends.
