This weekend was our families first time hosting a rally. Dw is on the PTA and suggested the PTA should host a family camp weekend and it was approved. The campground was local and we had 13 families sign up. We set up our site Thursday and drove DS to school from the campground. Friday the other campers showed up around dinner time. The PTA commitee cooked hambergurs, hotdogs and sides for all the campers as they arived and set up.

8 of the families were tenters so DW and DH got up early Saturday and got the fire going and the 32 cup coffee perculator. Saturday morning we did a craft with our group making stepping stones from quickcrete. They came out amazing. We had many hot dogs and bugers left from the night before so we grilled them for lunch for everyone. Many campers headed out for the rest of the afternoon for little league games. Saturday night we had a pot luck dinner. Everything was wonderful and their was so much food to eat. Saturday night we had smores and gave all the kids glow necklaces.

It was great getting to know new families in the area. We had great weather all weekend and we already have requests to host another rally in the fall.
