This was our first time at the rv.net mid-summer rally. We had been to Waubeeka before but this was our first time in the new camper. Our site was tight but we did not spend much time there. Mike an d Gerry made hot dogs and bugers the first night and it rained hard during our dinner. Our site turned into a pond with all the rain. It was a great turnout at this rally, ten campers but I didn't get a head count.
Saturday we slept in and hung out at Mikes site. Jacob swam in the campground pond with Gerry and went on Liz and Steves "Slip and Die". It received this name after Steve tried it and hit his nose on the post that holds it down. He was OK but banged his nose up pretty bad. DW got to play her guitar with Steve , Liz and Mike. She has a long way to go to hang with these guys.

Saturday night as we were getting dinner ready a storm rolled in quickly. DW was under one of the four easy ups when the wind picked up. She
grabbed the easy up so it wouldn't blow away and everyone else started holding all of the stuff down. DH ran to our camper and started putting in our awning. Next thing we know it is hailing and the wind is intense. I have DS go in the camper. As DH was finishing putting in our awning he could see the other campers awnings being damaged and pulled off their campers.
