This was our second trip in the new RV. Everything that seemed to be a problem with the engine
last trip seemed ok this trip. We did have a small issue with the shower door coming off the
track but that is an easy fix. The wheels are adjustable.
This being our 3rd trip with our friends and being that the last two campgrounds were not the best
for being picked late. We arrived Friday to a small campground (78 sites). We were a little worried
until we got looking around. Wow what a little gem this campground is! The staff was great, very
friendly

and helpful. They were very geared towards making the kids have a good time. They had
activities like a fishing derby. Lolly pop bingo. fire truck rides etc. They did not nickel and dime
you for activities either. The lolly Lolly pop bingo was free and they had great prizes for the kids.
The fishing derby was a bust because it was raining. But they still gave out prizes for the one fish caught.
All the kids had a great time playing in the stream behind out site, it was shallow enough to walk in
but deep enough to get wet.

On Sunday they had "Stupid Volley Ball" it was for adults only. DW, Ed and I were up to the challenge.
although we did not know what we were getting our selves in to. We arrive to find the volley ball was
60" (5feet) in diameter and it weighed about 15lbs.
DW and I played on the same team against more experienced players. After about 5 min I didn't think I
was going to make it, (This is a very tiering game, partly because you are laughing while playing.) Ed
finally arrived and we started to come back. The staff said it was 3 games to 21 but we convinced them to play
only 2 games to 15.

We were whooped by the end. I woke up Monday morning sore. but we had a good time lazing around the site
playing cards and slowly picking up. This was my best experience for a Memorial day camping trip ever.
Deer Haven Campground is a nice quite place to go and it is one we would enjoy going back to.
