Charlie Brown campground was a last minute 2 night getaway. We were really impressed with how clean
the campground was kept and the staff was really friendly. Our site was right on the river. The only
complaint about our site was it had tree that dropped blueberry type fruit and the flies were all over them
and if you stepped on them it put blue juice on your shoes.
We ended up going to the apple orchard a few miles down the road called Buell's Orchard that was open to campers only on Saturday.
DW and DS had
never gone apple picking and we had a great time. We also picked some of the largest peaches we had ever seen.
Saturday night the campground hosted a Texas Hold'em Tournament. This was also a first for DW and DH. This was alot of fun.
It was a $5 buy in and we played for about 2 hours. DW came in 4th out of about 20-25. Not too bad.
We had great weather and the weekend went by way to fast. This was a great little campground and we would love to visit this campground again.
