It is so great that camping season has finally started for 08'. We called many campgrounds around
the area to find one that was open this early. Most do not open until May 1st and some do not open
until Memorial day. We finally found a few and settled on Seaport Campground. We had a rocky start
when we arrived and got parked on our site we were told by staff we would have to move. The entire
row of campsites had been promised to the Boy Scouts and that the two large bathrooms were under
construction. Although we are self contained this campground has no grey water hookups so we were
planning on showering in the bathrooms. They apologized and allowed us to pick a different site.
We picked a nice site. All sites at this campground are quite big. Almost State Park big.

The first night we relaxed with a fire and watched a movie. We set the alarm for 6:30, we were
going fishing in the morning. We got up and got all our equipment down to the stream. After about
an hour of fishing with out even a nibble. DW got her lure stuck in a tree, She then got herself
stuck in the tree trying to get the lure out. After a good laugh we went over and tried pond fishing
for a bit. First cast for me and I lost my lure to a tree. When I looked up at the tree it looked
like a Christmas tree with all the other lures and bobbers stuck in it. Oh well.

We came home unsuccessful at fishing but in good spirits, we were going Geocaching and to see the
Historic Ship Nautilus and Submarine Force Museum. We geocached on the way to the museam and found
some great hidden caches. When we arrived at the museum it was closed for maintenance, Thats weird
because there web site said they were open. Oh well we did some more geocaching and then went back to
the campground. We went for a walk, bike ride, threw the ball and hacky sacked.
We relaxed getting ready for the big day tomorrow, We were going to Mystic Aquarium.

Friday morning, DS knew we were going somewhere but he didn't know where. We surprised him when we
arrived in Mystic Aquarium. He loves aquariums and we had a great time at the shows and rides. I
think his favorites were the Touch a Ray Pond and the hands on experience with Crabs and starfish and
Hermit crabs.
After Mystic Aquarium we did some more Geocaching and with some nice hikes in different parks around
the area.
Saturday was a day of relaxation, DW and DS went to a Crafts thing put on by the campground and made
"CD Fish" they came out real neat looking. DW had fun at Saturday night Bingo even though she
didn't win.
It was another great camping experience packed full of exciting things.
