This was the start of our big summer trip, We had the third longest starting legs of any trip we have taken. We decided because we were going to be going through so many tolls (I90 and NY Thruway) we would buy the fast pass. I loaded it with $150 to make sure that we would have enough for the entire trip.

We arrived to find a small campground with extremely deep sites. We got setup and played some basket ball and went swimming. We called it an early night. The next morning we got up early
and headed out to Howe Caverns. It was only about a 15 minute drive. We arrived early enough to be on the first tour. I would recommend getting the first tour.

It was DW and DS first trip to the caverns. I haven't been since I was young. The caverns were spectacular. They are bigger then I remember. They now have a short boat ride at the end of the caverns that was neat. This is just one of those neat things you really should see. The tour only takes about an hour and a half. so we had planned to
go to coopers town to visit the baseball hall of fame.

When we started on the ride I thought I have to get gas but I will get it on the way and off we started following Suzy's (our GPS) directions. About 2/3 of the way there I started getting nervous. we had not seen a gas station and the tank was almost empty. We were still 10 miles out and our computer was saying we only had about 15 miles of gas left and the warning light was on. We finally drove from farmland in to Coopers town and right to the gas station.
We finally got parked and decided to go to lunch at a nice little cafe. After that we headed to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Coopers town is odd. They do not offer any long term parking near the center of town and street level parking is limited to 2hrs. So you have to be careful. The Hall of Fame was neat it is amazing to see when the players equipment use to be like. It is surprising they could even play.

After the hall of fame we went back to the campground in time for a Halloween theme and trick or treating. DS got a bag full of candy. We relaxed in the campground and watched a movie that night.
