We had a great Labor Day weekend at Prospect Mountain. The campground was
packed and had a ton of activities planned. The campground was well maintained
and the campsites were large and wooded.
DH and DS joined in on the Tug-O-War...boys vs. girls. The boys won. DH was the
anchor for the boys. It was alot of fun watching them pull on the rope with all there might.

We also got alot of well needed rest and relaxation in this weekend. Sleeping in late,
lounging by the pool and laying in the hammock doing nothing were popular. Saturday
the campground put on a kids carnival which raised money for a local charity and had
a teacup auction where DS won a pair of Wooden salt and pepper shakers.
Saturday night the campground had a End of Summer Dance featuring "Orange Crush". They
were a great band featuring 80's music by audiance request and really livened up the campground.
We really enjoyed this campground, it was one of our favorite campgrounds since we have
been in CT and we plan on visiting again.
