This was a big trip for us, this was the first trip we went with other people. We brought my parents with us, we had a great time walking on the extensive trails and enjoying the local wild life.
We met up with Patrick (the park ranger that saved the day with the wet dry vac) and went on a waggon ride and then on to the "Sounds of the night" where he called wild owls that flew in for us to see.
The next day, we went on a tour of a restored fort from the Civil War days. It was set way back in the woods but it was a nice walk and very educational. I learned what "Sleep Tight" really means.
