The first night, a cold front moved through with lots of rain so we camped inside
the first night. By morning, we had a waterfront site. The next day was Thanksgiving.
The clubhouse prepared a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was delicious.
We ended up running into a business friend, Rick, and he invited us to his campfire for dessert.
We met some of Rick's family and Jacob made a new friend Taylor.

Friday, we rode bikes and Jacob did a little fishing. I made a ham so we could have some
Thanksgiving leftovers. Teri (my sister) and her friend Stephanie stopped in and visited
for a while.
Saturday, was a busy and fun day. We went to a crabbing contest where you use a chicken leg
on a string. In the clubhouse, we did a cute reindeer craft and a little after that Jacob
was the king of candy bar bingo winning the jack pot of 12 candy bars.

Later in the day, we went swimming in the pool and took a dip in the hot tub.
The park was kept very clean, the staff was nice and we will definitely come and visit again. |
