We often boondock or drydock (no hook ups) and we need a away to charge to batteries without using the generator. so I bought a small 200w solar kit
One of the problems I had with the previous two RVs were the panels permanently mounted on the roof, if boondocking in the summer you want to park in shade
but then the solar doesn't work, so on this coach I didn't mount the panels I carry them in the compartment and I left about 25 feet of PV wire with MC4 connector
so I can place them in a convenient spot.
