We wanted a flag to represent our presence on RV.net so with the help of my Mom, I made this flag, its
about 14" x 14" and the pole stands about 48". We put it at the front of our site, (hopefully as an
invitation to other members to come say hi) and we also put two US flags at the base. You can see this
in the picture above.
I created this image in Photoshop and printed it on Iron
on transfer paper.
I cut the transfer paper into two even pieces and then prepared the flag or cloth part by sewing two
panels of material to make it stiffer and less transparent. I carefully ironed on the two images.
I welded the pole out of scrap laying around the house. The upright is 1/2" and the horizontal is
1/4" steel, there is a small 3" step about 5" up from the bottom to help push it into the ground, It
also helps keep it from turning. I keep the flag on with a short 1/4" piece of vacuum hose and two
black washers.
I am thinking of adding JManatee & Family in small print to the top or bottom of each side.
